BioWhile growing up in Massachusetts, Tiffany Schmidt spent far too much time in the ‘naughty chair.’ Her eternal time-outs, however, paid off because it was during these that she discovered her love for storytelling. The best way to pass time in the naughty chair was to tell her dog about the trials of ‘the beautiful Princess Tiffany being punished by the evil witch named Mommy.’ While her mother may not have appreciated the humor just then, she did recognize Tiffany’s creativity and her encouragement inspired a lifetime love of writing.
Tiffany has graduated with highest honors and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Lehigh University. She has a Masters in Education from Lehigh as well. Currently, Tiffany teaches sixth grade in Doylestown, PA. And while there may not be a naughty chair in her classroom, there is plenty of storytelling and lots and lots of writing.
